Homeowners may view project data, mark maintenance tasks as complete, and add personal notes.

B. Automatically Collected Information

Device & Usage Data

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• IP address
• Crash logs and performance data (if applicable)

Push Notification Tokens

We collect device tokens to send reminders (e.g., maintenance tasks), builder notifications, and security-related alerts.

C. Authentication & Security Data

When authenticating, we may process:

• Magic link tokens
• Password reset tokens
• Email confirmation links
• Deep link routing parameters

No plaintext passwords are ever stored.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information for:

• Creating and managing user accounts
• Providing access to project data (builder to homeowner)
• Displaying construction photos, manuals, and product information
• Scheduling and sending maintenance reminders
• Sending account-related emails (signup, login, password reset)
• Communicating builder updates to homeowners
• Improving app performance and user experience

We do not sell your personal data.

3. How Information is Shared

A. With Service Providers

We use trusted third-party tools to operate AsBuilt, including:

• Supabase (database, authentication, file storage)
• Resend (email delivery)
• Expo / Apple / Google (mobile push notifications)

Each service provider processes data on our behalf under strict confidentiality.

B. Between Builders and Homeowners

Builders control project data. Homeowners invited to a project can view the information their builder uploads.

C. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process.

4. Data Retention

• Project data, photos, and manuals remain stored as long as the builder maintains the project within AsBuilt.
• User accounts remain active until deleted by the user or by request.
• Authentication logs may be stored temporarily for security and audit purposes.

We use modern security practices, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Secured authentication via Supabase
